I was born in York and grew up in the east riding of Yorkshire. I got my start in theatre as stage crew at York Theatre Royal.

I moved to London to train at the Royal Academy of Dramatic arts. First for a foundation degree in  technical Thetare and then to study a postgraduate diploma in theatre design. Whilst at Rada I designed set and costume for Lady Bird by Vassily Sigarev, Cockroach by Sam Holcroft and When She Danced by Martin Sherman. 

Since graduating from RADA in 2013 I have designed opera, drama and devised theatre. Opera designs include Dido and Aeneas and Don Giovani for the westminster opera company at the Chateau de Panloy. Summer and Autum Opera scenes for Guildhall School of Music and Drama in the Milton Court studio theatre as well as Opera makers. Three new short Opera pieces which where performed in Milton court theatre in Guildhall, The Clore Studio at The Royal Opera House and the  Liszet Academy in Budapest.  For the Merry opera company I designed two regional tours of The Barba of Seville and Kiss me Figaro! in 2016 I have designed LA Favourite for the UCL Opera Society at The Theatre Royal Stratford East and L'incoranazione di Poppea for The Royal Academy of Music at Shoreditch Town Hall. Theatre work includes The Secret Rapture by David Hare also for Giuldhall school of music and Drama in the Milton Court studio Theatre and The Ecstasy and the Ecstasy a piece of revised theatre for the MA Theatre Lab at RADA in the GBS Theatre.
